“Perhaps the most stylish of the bunch, the TS 300 Coupe was marketed as “The Goggo Goes Glamourous!” in 1959, and as an elegant small car with space age design queues like winged badges, tail-fins and wrap-around glass was always 10-20% more expensive than the sedan.
Using the same mechanical running gear as the Sedan but with 10 less kilograms in overall weight, the Coupé feels vastly more spritely and carries a lot more space inside with almost unlimited legroom for the driver and passenger and ample overnight bag space in the rear.With its constant-mesh, short-throw, four-speed transmission, fully independent suspension with swing axles front and rear, and rack and pinion steering the Coupé is the most engaging Goggo to drive.
The two-tone Red and White Australian made coupe offered has also been subject to a ground-up restoration to the same meticulous standard as the Sedan.
