The Skyline GT-R has been the halo car for Nissan since 1969. Not just the carrot Nissan used to get you into the showroom when you were really there to buy a Gloria, but THE benchmark all other Japanese car manufacturers were measured against.

Production of the R35 GT-R began in 2007 and was released to the world in early 2008. Nissan chief creative officer, Shiro Nakamura, said the GT-R is like the giant martial robots of the Gundam cartoon series, "it is not simply a copy of a European-designed sports car; it had to reflect Japanese culture."

With fanatical attention to detail, the Nissan GT-R is solely produced in Japan in a hermetically sealed, temperature-regulated factory, and the engines are made by one of four master technicians, in which one makes one engine, all by hand.

The creators of Gran Turismo built the multifunction dash display that shows everything from coolant temperature and oil pressure to cornering G-Force and speed, to navigation and entertainment.

Lastly, it is the fastest-accelerating four-seater, 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds - similar to the McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. It also boasts the fastest speed for a four-seater around the Nürburgring, finishing 1.3 seconds faster than the Corvette C6 ZR1, and it changes gear as fast as a Ferrari Enzo due to its hand-built dual-clutch gearbox.

The car offered is the penultimate incarnation of the R35 GT-R, an Australian-delivered Nismo Edition®.

With a mere 894 km on the odometer and ordered in Matte Grey over Black leather trim with Red Alcantara inserts, this Tokyo Express features lifted power and torque by 22 kW and 20 Nm to 441 kW and 652 Nm, plus hand-rolled carbon fiber paneling and aero that dramatically reduces weight by 26 kg and improves downforce, slalom speed, and cornering capability.

The Nismo Edition also comes with retuned shock absorbers, springs, and stabilizers, genuine leather JDM Recaro seats, an improved infotainment system, 20-inch lightweight forged-alloy Rays wheels, a hand-built titanium exhaust system, and two new high-flow larger-diameter turbochargers – borrowed from the GT-R Nismo GT3 racecar. All of this comes together to make a time-attack monster with number plates.

Offered with its original history folio and both keys, this totally original and landmark Nismo Edition GT-R is a must-own, drive, and experience.
