After more than two decades of building exotic, mid-engine, flat-12-powered Boxers and Testarossa’s, Ferrari famously returned to its front-mounted, driver-centric and race bred roots with the 550 and 575M Maranello to huge success.

Debuting at the 2002 Geneva auto show, the 575M Maranello (“M” for Modificata referring to a miryad of updates) is fitted with a larger, high revving 515hp V12, a new Skyhook suspension system and an optional state-of-the-art Formula 1 inspired transmission.

Importantly, the 575M Maranello’s svelte, light alloy bodywork was styled by Pininfarina, harking back to ancestors like the Daytona without being overtly retro and is universally regarded as one of THE best looking of all modern Ferraris.

It also features a luxurious interior with double stitched leather from the hips up, ample space for the driver, passenger and luggage plus golf clubs designed with grand touring in mind.

In its 2002 review, Car and Driver called the 575M Maranello “a Classic GT, Ferrari’s muscle car with a shark nose” and went on to say “Ordinary traffic laws are inadequate with a car such as the 575M. They're going to have to make up some new charges like "Negligent Generation of G-forces".

A totally original and range topping example, this Australian complied 575M Maranello was delivered by Ferrari, Sydney in September of 2002 and benefits from having just one fastidious custodian since new.

Ordered in the ultimate combination of Rosso Corsa over Black Daytona leather interior with contrast Red stitching and seat inserts, this exquisitely maintained 575M Maranello is one of the finest we’ve had the opportunity to bring to market.

Travelled just 56,000 kilometres and well optioned, this car features wing mounted Ferrari shields, the engaging F1 paddle shift transmission and factory 18-inch alloys with Rosso brake callipers.

The exceptional overall condition of this car is indicative of the low kilometres travelled. Totally unmodified, the paintwork still carries an original depth of finish, the original alloys are still fitted and the interior suffers no sun wear so common amongst this model.

This 575M Maranello is also accompanied by its original log books detailing delivery dates, service and ownership history, both factory keys with remote access FOB’s and even the Ferrari branded Mini Maglite torch. Ready to drive off the showroom floor, the last major service including all drive belts was completed in October of 2016 and less than 3,000 kilometres ago.

This Australian delivered and single ownership 575M Maranello delivers a comprehensively balanced, comfortable and incredibly fast driving experience closely followed by an impeccable service record and outstanding overall condition.

This leading-edge car with its roots planted firmly in Ferrari’s esteemed front-mount V12 history is predicted to ascend to dizzying heights, now is the time to invest in, own and drive an Australian delivered and excellently maintained 575M Maranello, the likes of which are rarely offered to market.
