1969 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior

Alfa Romeo has been tugging on heart strings of car enthusiasts since 1910 and we aren’t sure there’s another car that is more attractive than the Italian styling and presence of a 105 “Step-front”, today considered to be highly collectible and one of the most beautiful automotive designs of the 1960s.

The Junior featured a lively, all aluminium twin-cam four-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, powering the rear wheels and in encased within a short-wheel base body that weighed just 900kgs allowing tight handling, plenty of grip, direct steering, plenty of low-down torque and all day ear-to-ear grins.

For all you Alfaholics out there, this gorgeous 105 underwent an extensive restoration which included a full back to bare metal respray in its original colour and an interior re-trim to its leather and carpets.

It also received a few exciting modifications to elevate performance including the installation of a 2.0 GTV engine with high-lift cams, upgraded engine internals, 40 mm Dell ‘Orto Carburetors, Ceramic Coated Manifold, Stainless Steel exhaust, aluminium radiator and thermo fan, Alfaholics stainless steel braided fuel line kit, Pipercross performance air filter, Alfaholics complete race prop shaft, limit-slip differential, upgraded springs and Koni shock absorbers, close ratio gearbox, heavier anti-sway bar, upgraded Alfaholic brakes kit, Alfaholic GTA Strada 14 inch alloy wheels and the vehicle was fully rustproofed with rust converter and cavity wax.
