Famously penned by Benjamin Dimson, the architecturally seamless Porsche 911 type 964 was introduced at Geneva in 1990 and one of the rarest and totally sensory engaging models within the 911’s unrivalled lineage is the Type 964 3.3L Turbo. It will make you a 911 believer.

With big shoes to fill, succeeding the vaunted 930 Turbo, the Type 964 Turbo was initially released in limited numbers due to production hurdles, budget and time constraints making it seriously collectable today and rose to become an absolute trailblazer, pioneer and innovator that brought Porsche into the 20th Century- modelled closely to the Type 959.

Featuring a 3.3 litre turbocharged engine derived from its predecessor with new electronic fuel injection and exhaust system helping it to produce an improved tarmac pulverising 320 horsepower, power-assisted steering (a 911 'first'), anti-lock brakes, a five-speed manual transaxle as standard, signature Whale Tail spoiler and lightweight alloys borrowed from Porsche’s racing program the First Gen Type 964 Turbo lifted the exotic moniker as Porsche’s ‘Halo Car’ to all new heights.
