A timeless, unbroken design and Porsche’s last truly hand-made car combined with what would be the final and ultimate factory refinement of the universally loved air-cooled M64/60 Boxer engine is what makes the Porsche Type 993 911 Turbo one of the most collectible and exhilarating modern classics available today.

To put this “last of” models’ importance to the brand and its avid followers into perspective, in August of 2018 Porsche released Project Gold.

Created to celebrate the brand's 70th anniversary, and to showcase its Classic Department's restoration expertise, Porsche took a year and a half and 2500 man hours to fully restore a 993 Turbo from the ground up.

Producing a whopping 408 horsepower with the help of twin turbo-chargers to achieve a stupefying 0-100km/h sprint time of just 3.8 seconds and a silky 6 speed manual transmission plus permanent all-wheel-drive and ABS the 993 Turbo driving experience was/is unrivalled behind the wheel and on the road.

One of the highlights on our showroom floor at the moment and an ultra-special car, available here is a one of one, Australian delivered and exceedingly original Porsche 911 Type 993 Turbo sold new by Scuderia Veloce Motors October of 1995, specially ordered in British Racing Green over Dark Green leather trim. Exceptionally well maintained this 993 Turbo has travelled just 54,000 kilometres and remains in mint original condition.

The generation of 911 that every model before and after is compared too for build quality and design, stepping through the rock-solid door apertures of this Turbo feels as though you’re stepping into a new car on a Porsche showroom floor in 1995.

The door card leather trim is still perfectly firm with zero wear, the famous 993 perforated leather sports seats glue the driver and passenger to the floor, the original VDO instrumentation is in pristine condition and all of the touch points from the switch gear with its original matte black finish, to the pedals and steering wheel in seemingly unused condition show tell-tale signs of a low kilometre and well-maintained car.

Accompanied by its complete set of Porsche manuals, original keys, centre-console CD stacker and compressor this car is something incredibly special.

The drive is also sensational and just as Porsche intended; lean, mean and fast - power to all four wheels fast, push you into the back seat fast. This generation of 911 was the first draft of the now-common blueprint for blending seering performance with daily usability.

A universally collectable air-cooled sports classic and a landmark car within the history of one of the greatest automakers of all time, as market values for near perfect and low kilometre 993 Turbos have surged in the last five years, this one of one, British Racing Green 911 Type 993 Turbo is a must have.
