WPCS 2.1.0

There were three players in the luxury saloon game in the 80’s and 90’s, our first contestant is the queen and country’s Jaguar XJ40 assembled in Coventry, England and the “Safest Car in Britain (1993)”. Second, we have the sleek, powerful BMW E32 7-Series with a host of tech that set the standard of performance luxury cars well into the 90’s. In third, last but certainly not least, known for it’s superior “tank-like” build quality, robust mechanicals, ultimate luxury and high class styling the Mercedes-Benz S-Class rules them all.

The W140 S-Class was offered in three engine layouts and many different capacities. The was either an Inline-6, V8 and V12.

Innovations to the W140 included; Double-paned soundproofed glass, Electric Folding Mirrors, Parameter Steering, 12-way powered, Heated front seats, with 3 setting memory functions and lumbar support, Dual-zone climate control, Electric Rear Sunshade and Soft-Closing Trunk.

We are excited to offer this time-warp Mercedes-Benz W140 S 320. Purchased in the July of 1997 through Mercedes-Benz McIntosh, Mosman delivered new in Brilliant Silver, this S-Class has lived a charmed life under one long term owner covering just 74,700 kilometres from new.

The S320 featured a 24-valve 3.2 Litre Inline 6-Cylinder which produced 170kW and 315Nm of torque, mated to a 4-speed automatic driven through to its rear wheels. Brand new on the road this car would’ve been valued at approximately $265,000.00 in 1997.

The subject of a recent sympathetic mechanical overhaul by Mercedes-Benz attending to anything required to bring the car up to standard even down to factory specific Michelin 225/60R16 tires all around, this S-Class is now readily prepared for its next custodian.

Accompanying the sale of this Mercedes-Benz is its original two keys, original book pack including its service schedule and manuals along with paperwork documenting its recent mechanical works.

Available for a fraction of its original selling price, this exceptional S 320 delivers an unrivalled drive perfect for the daily commute and/weekend trips away.
