1999 Rover Mini Cooper 40 Anniversary

British automaker Rover officially re-launched the Mini Cooper in September of 1990 basing the new design on the 'Mini 30', the most luxurious design to date and enlarging the engine to 1,275cc for an exciting performance upgrade.

Thrusting the Mini into a brand-new era, other enhancements included twin-point fuel injection, higher drive gearing, driver's airbag, optional leather appointments, optional air-conditioning, power steering, side impact beams, additional sound insulation, new ergonomic seating and a front-mounted radiator for more efficient cooling.

The Mini was better than ever and still carried the classic and oh so charming design of the original cars.
