It was the prancing horse of the new millennium and it was always going to be tough for Maranello to produce a sequel to the F355 but the Ferrari 360 was lighter, stiffer, more powerful, roomier, better built, featured a much improved F1 transmission and arguably better looking.

It was powered by an all-alloy 3.6 litre DOHC V8 that you could pear at through the glass viewing panel on the rear deck. It produces a whopping 400 horsepower, that’s 111 horsepower per litre and uses a 6 speed Sequential Manual Auto-Single Clutch, the same technology used in the Ferrari F1 at the time.

The 360 Spider was released in the late 2000’s and don’t think for a second the Nortie’s Ferrari was a chop job of the Coupé as the 360 was actually engineered as a convertible from the get-go. It was built around a high-tech aluminium space frame which requires very little extra stiffening for the Spider as it offers plenty of chassis support which didn’t compromise its handling.

As one big 400 horsepower symphony is being played out just over the driver’s left shoulder, driving the 360 Spider top-down through a long tunnel, full-throttle 8500-rpm upshifts is as close to being Michael Schumacher at Monaco as a normal person will ever get.

Therefore, CTS is excited to bring to market this Australian delivered 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider F1 presented in Rosso Corsa over Black Leather optioned with a F1 Transmission and has travelled just 62,838 kilometres since new.

Complete with a full and fastidious maintenance history, this Ferrari is in excellent order inside and out.

Having been looked after by a local Ferrari specialist during its current ownership, the Cambelts were replaced in August 2018 and the clutch was replaced in early 2020, making this F1 Spider perfectly prepared and ready to drive off the showroom floor.

This 360 is accompanied with all of it’s factory keys, a complete toolkit, full manuals, warranty cards and original maintenance booklet as well as a host of paperwork documenting its mechanical works.

This modern classic Ferrari presents excellent value and would suit the avid enthusiast or the ultimate driver looking for something a little different. Excellently prepared don’t miss out on this wonderful example.
