2008 Land Rover Defender 110 SVX 60 Years

It has been 4 years since the classic-style Defender left the Solihull Land Rover factory and ever since special edition Defenders have been soaring in value around the globe.

In 2008 Land Rover released a true special edition Land Rover that was to mark 60 years of Land Rover, this was called the 60th Anniversary SVX. Just 82 lucky Land Rover customers in Australia had the opportunity to place an order with Land Rover Australia where each would receive an individually numbered Defender SVX.

Special equipment was exclusively featured to the SVX. Its most exciting feature was it’s very expensive and beautifully made Land Rover Recaro bucket seats and Satin Black 60th Anniversary Bonnet and side decals.

The SVX also featured a leather steering wheel, diamond turned five-spoke alloy wheels, tubular side-steps, reinforced aluminium front under shield, sunroof, heated seats, aluminium gear knob and a Clarion audio system.

We are excited to bring to market this very rare opportunity to own No. AU30, an exceptionally well-preserved example which was sold to its first owner by Lance Dixon Land Rover, Doncaster in November 2008.

Today this Land Rover has travelled just 31,000 kilometres and has had a full Land Rover dealer service history since new with its last service completed by Melbourne City Land Rover in December 2019.

This Land Rover is accompanied with it’s very hard to find original SVX Hard-Back Coloured Brochure, SVX Leather Wallet, SVX Key Chain, Defender Sales Brochure, it’s original leather Land Rover owners’ wallet which contains the original owner’s manual and service logbook.
