Before the uncover of the new type 991, Porsche gave the 997 one last hurrah and along came the GTS, A sportier, wide track, higher horsepower and highly specified version of the Carrera S/4S.
Normally reserved for 4WD and motorsport department models, the rear-drive GTS retained its curvaceous wide-track body. It was also given a 3.8-litre direct-injection motor with the Power kit found in the Speedster and Sport Classic, boosting output to 402 BHP.Other GTS goodies included RS Spyder center-lock 19-inch alloys, a SportDesign front apron/black side skirt from the GT2, half leather/Alcantara sport seats, Alcantara steering wheel, headlining, and door cards, all directly from the GT3.
The GTS is a driver-focused machine, yet not as crashy and hard as a Motorsport model, delivering visceral thrill from its high-output naturally aspirated flat six, superglue grip from its rear wide track, and an intense soundtrack unique only to the 3.8 unit thanks to its bi-moral sport exhaust system.
The car offered is in virtually as-new condition and believed to be 1 of 24 delivered new in Australia. Sold originally by Porsche Centre Sydney South, on the showroom floor is a super hard-to-find rear drive Carrera GTS PDK Coupe ordered in Carrara White with 62,500 kilometres travelled.
Optional features:
• Sport Chrono Package Plus
• Carrara White Paintwork
• Porsche Active Suspension Management
• Bi-Modal Sports Exhaust System

Meticulously maintained this Carrera GTS is accompanied with all of its original keys and books documenting. Factory extended warranty until 2026 and an impressive Porsche Dealer service record with its most recent service completed in March 2023.
Most would think the GTS is nothing more than the greatest hits of the 997 with Porsche picking the best bits and throwing them into a mixer but, in actual fact, the GTS is perhaps the most complete 911 there has ever been.
Don’t miss this opportunity to own an exceedingly desirable and rare type 997 that represents the last of the analogue driver focussed era of the Porsche 911.
