2015 Porsche 911 991 Carrera 4 GTS

The penultimate road going version of Porsche’s beloved 911, the GTS shows off the company’s perfectionist streak, known as being, by quite some margin, the best value, most complete 911 you could buy.

The thrilling 316kw 991.1 generation GTS fits into the 911 range above the Carrera S and below the GT3.

Over and above the Carrera S, the GTS received a wider rear track and the 20-inch centre-lock wheels from the super-car Turbo S, plus PASM active-damper system, which lowers ride height by 10mm and provides the kind of cornering trickery that was outlawed by F1.

Over and above that again, Porsche offered an AWD version called the Carrera 4 GTS.

Porsche’s engine nerds also fully reworked the GTS’ intake manifold, perfecting its powerplant’s combustion process and raising power by 22kw and generating higher torque at low revs and even more power at higher rpm.

The sports exhaust system is also fitted as standard on the GTS and delivers a series of percussive pops and bangs on the overrun that’s a joy to the ears when turned on. Something that Porsche calls an “unmistakable GTS sound”.

Inside, the GTS offers a seven-inch high-resolution colour touchscreen that manages the satellite navigation and the Bluetooth, vehicle and audio settings, heated seats, dual climate control, plus the Sportschrono package as standard that quickens gear changes and offers lap-timing.

The car offered is a one owner Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS delivered new by Porsche Centre Willoughby in 2015 and kept in excellent condition.

Travelled 43,000 kilometres, ordered in Agate Grey Metallic over Black extended leather and accompanied by a complete and up to date factory service history this Carrera 4 GTS was optioned with:
