1994 BMW E36 M3

Following their success in the Paris to Dakar rally BMW chose the bold colour of Dakar Yellow as the Hero colour for the E36 M3 models. Selling limited numbers of just 292 in 1994 with just 35 where produced in this signature colour.

The E36 M3 debuted in February, 1992 and was in showrooms November that year; it was the first M3 powered by a six-cylinder engine, displacing 2990 cc and developing 282 hp.

The E36 is also the first M3 to be built in right-hand drive and uniquely available here is one of the first E36 M3’s sold in Australia and one of the few in BMW’s the hero colour Dakar Yellow.
