1994 Aston Martin Vantage V600 Performance Pack

Back in 1992, Aston Martin was in the process of upgrading its Virage: a massive, two tonne, V8 grand tourer that preferred to conquer European highways rather than attack  winding backroads. It was an opulent private jet on wheels, but when it came to open  straights, it barely flexed its muscles. 

Aston went about fixing this which resulted in bolting on two mechanically-driven Eaton  superchargers, the 5.3-litre V8 – which first saw the light of day in the late ‘60s – now  produced an astonishing 410kW. 

Most companies would have stopped there but in 1998 saw the introduction of the Aston  Martin Vantage ‘V600 driving package’; an uprated, louder variant that boasted near nuclear power outputs of 447kW and, responsibly, Aston tweaked the suspension setup to  handle the extra grunt. 

We are very excited to bring to market one of these late model Vantages, finished desirable  colour combination of Pentland Green over Tan and benefitting from the “V600 Driving  Package” which was fitted by Aston Martin in house works division in 2004. 

Accompanied by a comprehensive servicing and maintenance portfolio, with the majority  of its services undertaken by Aston Martins Works Department or Aston Martin specialists  this is example would suit the budding Aston Martin enthusiast or fastidious collector.  

Brought over from the UK to Sydney in 2022, this V600 would be one of only a handful on  our shores. As in house enhanced models go, we don’t think they come much more  universally collectable than this.  

Not just the swan song of the Marek engine and the Virage chassis, or the end of the “hand made” era from Aston but the three-dimensional representation of the madness that was  Aston Martin in the 90’s.

When any pressure is applied to the accelerator you feel the nose lift as the supercharges  start to wine, just like a scene out of Mad Max but with a hint of English elegance this V600  is always an occasion.
