Introduced in 2004, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was the Italian manufacturers replacement for the 456 GT continuing the tradition of the four-seater V12 GT Ferrari’s following in the footsteps of the Ferrari 250 GTE of 1960.

A “Gentlemen’s Express” designed by Pininfarina and produced at the Carrozzeria Scaglietti workshop, the 612 was capable of crossing continents at high speed whilst keeping its driver and passengers in superb comfort throughout the entire journey.

Albeit a luxurious model for Ferrari, the marque wouldn’t keep the GT Ferrari from its fabled heritage of uncompromising high-performance. The Scaglietti features a naturally aspirated V12 unit taken from the 575 Superamerica, that produces 540 horsepower, sprints from 0 – 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds and achieves a top speed of 315km/h.

Ferrari customers could option the 612 Scaglietti with a six-speed F1 paddle-shift transmission or a more traditional, and engaging chrome-gated six-speed manual. The majority of buyers would choose the former but just a handful wanted a more analogue experience.

Total production for the Scaglietti concluded in 2011 with just over 3,000 612’s were built. Only 199 of these were fitted with a manual transmission totalling just 6% of production ensuring future collectability.

The vehicle offered here is an exceedingly rare, Australian delivered 2006 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti ordered in Blu Tour De France over Grey and Black Leather with contrast stitching.

Travelled just 27,604 kilometres this internationally desirable Ferrari features:

• Bose Sound System Upgrade

• Blu Tour De France Metallic Paint Work

• Blu Medio Leather Interior

• Extended Leather Interior (Door Cards, Roof and Dashboard)

• 6 Speed Manual Transmission

• Daytona Seat Inserts Front

• Daytona Seat Inserts Rear

• Dual Zone Climate Control

• Rear Parking Sensors

• Rain Sensing (Auto wipers)

• Electric Drivers Seat with Memory

• Electric Passenger Seat

This 612 Scaglietti is accompanied by its original set of factory keys, original manuals, service booklet, maintenance receipts documenting its excellent service history and it’s rarely seen factory issued Vehicle Identification Passport (VIP Program) that documents the entire, hand crafted build process.

A swansong of the original analogue, naturally aspirated Ferrari V12, the 612 Scaglietti is the last of a limited breed.

Not only does this 612 Scaglietti coming to market represent a great opportunity to purchase one of the most capable and beautiful Italian Grand Tourer’s ever made in superb condition throughout, it’s also is a very rare opportunity to invest in a modern classic and Landmark Ferrari.
