Porsche’s gun for hire 911 Turbo, with a 3.6-litre flat six, 473hp, a whacking 680Nm of torque and four-wheel drive, was the flagship of the 911 line-up in 2006 - marked internally as the 997 generation.

Chris Harris for Autocar Magazine said in his 2006 review, “The 997 Turbo is unquestionably the best sports car the world has ever seen. That much is non-negotiable.
