2011 Bentley Continental GT

Since its debut in 2003, the Bentley Continental has been gracing our roads with effortless luxury and speed.

Under the bonnet is a mega powerplant officially rated at 550 hp and 700 Nm of torque, a top speed of 318 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.8 seconds, which is hard to believe when you are sitting in a car with the plushest trimmings of a six-star hotel.

The 6-speed transmission can be left in two fully automatic modes (Drive and Sport) or used as a pseudo-manual, where the driver can change gears sequentially via either the gear lever or paddles mounted behind the steering wheel.

Inside, the car gets the usual Bentley appointments, such as Nappa leather trim, seat piping, a 1,100W Naim audio system, plenty of wood and chrome, and a beautiful timepiece mounted on the dashboard from the Swiss watchmaker, Breitling. Low-friction dampers provide improved ride comfort.

Just two owners from new, this 2011 Bentley Continental GT is a handsome example of the Grand Tourer, presented with a high factory specification and in superb condition throughout. The bodywork is in excellent condition, with flush shut lines, smooth panels, and no evidence of any previous accidents. The Dark Sapphire paintwork has a glass-like finish.

Moving inside, the cabin is trimmed with sumptuous Cream diamond-quilted leather, which is also in excellent condition for its age, with just some very light, mileage-commensurate wear to the driver’s bolsters. The leather-clad door cards and dashboard present incredibly well, along with the warm Walnut dashboard trim.

The seats are heated and electrically adjustable, with the cabin also featuring satellite navigation, cruise control, and climate control. The car is accompanied by its two keys and a fully stamped service book. Regular routine maintenance has been carried out by Bentley authorized dealers, and a no-cost attitude when it came to ensuring parts were serviced or replaced when worn means this Continental drives as well as it did when leaving the Bentley showroom.

Its most recent major mechanical service, in July 2024, performed by Bentley Melbourne, saw an annual oil service, exhaust gas temperature sensors replacement, secondary air injection filters, front upper control arms replacement, brake fluid, wiper blades, and a wheel alignment.

For a car that cost in excess of $450,000.00 when new, this Bentley represents fantastic value and would be an excellent daily driver for the enthusiast looking for undeniable luxury and monstrous performance at a fraction of the price of a new model.
