In 2015, the house of the Raging Bull ignited the fuse of its most formidable supercar; the Ferrari-conquering, Nürburgring-shattering, track-focused variant of the Aventador—Lamborghini’s own ultra-lightweight ballistic projectile, the Aventador Superveloce (SV) LP750-4. This is why Batman opts for a Lamborghini.
Enhancing the power by 50 kW, the 6.5-litre V12 now delivers a staggering 552 kW, courtesy of new variable valve timing and an upgraded exhaust system, bumping the redline from 8,350 to 8,500 rpm. Furthermore, by shedding 50 kg, the Aventador SV obliterates the 0-100 km/h sprint in a mere 2.8 seconds, storming to a maximum velocity of 350 km/h.The vertical downforce is augmented by 170 per cent, while the overall aerodynamic efficacy has improved by 150 per cent. The SV boasts a Le Mans-inspired rear diffuser, quartet of downpipes, expanded side skirts, fresh underbody aerodynamics, a fiendishly pointed front end, and a colossal manually-adjustable dry-carbon rear wing, all in the pursuit of greater speed.
Inside the carbon fibre monocoque, one finds exposed CFRP door panels, alcantara-laced carbon bucket seats emblazoned with the SV logo, a robust alcantara and leather steering wheel, and a TFT display that cues gear shifts. It’s reminiscent of a video game, yet it’s utterly sublime.
The SV’s secret weapon is its cutting-edge Dynamic Steering, which adjusts the steering ratio dynamically based on velocity, steering input, and selected driving mode. It domesticates the wildness, rendering urban navigation almost effortless.
We are thrilled to introduce to the market this one of only 500 SV Roadsters ever made, with this particular model showcased in the exquisite Arancio Atlas hue. Originating directly from a distinguished Lamborghini collection, having had minimal owners since new, it's rare that cars like this come to the market.
In a realm of supercars where automotive journalism has overused superlatives, the term 'Crazy' was the sole descriptor apt for the sensation of acceleration when the Aventador SV is launched—especially once the carbon roof is detached, immersing one completely into the drama that is the SV Roadster.
Offered in near-mint condition, this supremely appointed, penultimate Lamborghini appeals to the thrill-seeker in us all. It’s an experience that must be driven to be truly comprehended.
