2016 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG

The "G-Wagon" concepted in 1975, originally as a very rudimentary package much similar to the Land Rover Defender, has since drastically evolved over the years into the handcrafted luxurious off-roader it is today.

Compared to other G-Series, the G63 featured flared wheel arches, an updated aggressive front bumper with extra-large air intakes, stainless steel side steps, huge twin-side pipes and its propelled by a reactor sized powerplant, AMG's signature 5.5L V8 Twin-Turbo producing 400kW and 760Nm of torque conquering a 0 – 100km/h time of just 5.4 seconds all driven through its precision engineered and smooth shifting AMG seven-speed automatic transmission.

Exceptionally well equipped for going where no others can, the G63 features permanent all-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case and armed with three independent differential locks operated via three switches located on the dashboard.
