When you think of automotive design-houses, your mind immediately goes to the big four; Pininfarina, Bertone, Touring and the most visionary of them all, Zagato.

Aston Martin have had a long-standing partnership with Zagato that dates to the 1960's with their first release together, the Coachbuilt Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato of which only 20 originals were made, making them arguably one of the most sought-after Aston Martins of the century.

Jumping 50 years into the future, the second-generation Aston Martin Vanquish was first released in 2012. It was the first Vanquish to be built at the Gaydon facility and was to be the new flagship model for Aston Martin after the discontinued DBS.

The Vanquish Zagato Concept was unveiled at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este at Lake Como, Italy in May 2016. A Coupe, Convertible, Speedster and Shootingbrake were to be produced and they would feature the naturally aspirated AM29 V12 from the Aston Martin Vanquish S which produced 595 hp and 630 Nm of torque, achieving 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

Not only does it take in familiar Zagato design cues -the rear, the Zagato Grille and the double bubble roof - but it also nods to Aston's special projects of the past too, including the One-77, the CC-100 and the Vulcan.

Available here is an incredibly rare 2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe, the first in Australia to come to market since released and number 80/99 examples built with only a handful arriving on Australian shores.

After the release in 2016, all allocations were taken almost instantly. But being a long term and faithful client, the first and current owner of the Zagato managed to twist the arm of the head of Aston Martin at the time to get a hold of any allocations that came available. A few months later.. He got the call and didn't hesitate.

Delivered new through Aston Martin Sydney, this Vanquish Zagato is presented in Tungsten Silver over Ivory and has travelled just 6,553 kms since.

In almost perfect condition, this vehicle is complete with two keys and a meticulous service history with Aston Martin Sydney.
