“SVR” comes out of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division. The “R” is a Jaguar trim level designation, presumably standing for “Racing,” though the SVR is a road-legal sports car, not a race car. The top-of-the-line Meridian sound system has 770 watts of power for clear listening, even during top-down motoring. Speaking of the top, it goes up and down at the touch of centre console toggle switch, and can be operated while the vehicle is in motion (up to approximately 40 kms).
