The Mercedes-AMG GT C Edition 50 was a limited edition variant of the AMG GT Coupe that debuted for the 2017 model year. The Edition 50 was created to celebrate 50 years of AMG, and featured a raft of aesthetic changes, such as black chrome trim, unique wheels, special two tone interior, and an Edition 50 suede steering wheel.
We're thrilled to introduce the Mercedes-AMG GT C Edition 50 to the market. With a mere 2405 kilometers on the odometer and being one of only 500 produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of AMG, it is a must-have for collectors. This exceptional vehicle is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The exterior is adorned in matte Graphite Grey Magno, complemented by a Silver Pearl and black Nappa leather interior.
The Designo Graphite Grey Magno body is enhanced with the Edition 50 package, featuring black chrome accents on the front splitter, fender vent strakes, side skirt inserts, rear diffuser trim, and exhaust outlets. Additionally, a speed-sensing automatic front splitter and rear spoiler are included, with a protective PPF applied to maintain its pristine condition since leaving the Mercedes showroom.
Equipped with forged cross-spoke AMG wheels, this GT C rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The AMG Ride Control sport suspension offers adaptive adjustable damping, complemented by active rear-axle steering and a wider rear track compared to previous GT S models.
Inside the cabin, Silver Pearl and black Nappa leather seats with diamond-pattern stitching, a microfiber headliner, black chrome trim, and Edition 50 badges create a luxurious atmosphere. The car boasts a flat-bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting, navigation, and a Burmester surround sound system. Five driving modes allow customization of suspension settings, throttle response, shift programming, stability control, and exhaust note.
The 4.0L biturbo V8, factory-rated at 550 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 502 lb-ft of torque at 1,900 rpm, is a powerhouse. The engine cover proudly displays the signature of the AMG engine builder. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, featuring electronically-adjustable engine and transmission mounts.
Accompanying the car is its leather wallet complete with all manuals and the factory spare key. If you missed the opportunity to acquire one when new, don't hesitate to drop by and feast your eyes on this remarkable beast in person.
