2019 Suzuki Jimny

Quirky, cool with a fearlessly fun design, the all-new Suzuki Jimny has no match in its price range for its brilliant build quality and uncanny off-road capabilities.

Whilst most affordable SUV’s are monocoque crossovers with road comfort and gizmos at the forefront, the Suzuki Jimny is a proper hardcore 4x4 with its body-on frame, rigid axle, low-range gearing, zero overhangs and heaps of clearance.

You still, however, sit in comfortable cloth seats, you have this swish tablet-like 7.0-inch touchscreen with reversing camera display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, satellite navigation, cruise control, automatic LED headlights, 15-inch alloy wheels, headlamp washers and rear privacy glass. The rear two-seats also fold down completely flat and give you 377 litres of cargo space.

The Jimny also features impressive safety accessories such as lane departure warning, collision assist, hill hold and hill decent.

Powered by 1.5 litre multi-point injected 4 Cylinder engine (a huge improvement over the old Jimny’s 1.3 litre) which produces 75kW and 130Nm at 4000 rpm the Jimny is no rocket ship, however with a kerb weight of just 1075kg in its favour, it’ll just about cruise over any sand or mud you plunge the little 4x4 into.

On the showroom floor we have a virtually brand new 2019 Suzuki Jimny ordered in its hero colour Acid Yellow and Gloss black roof with a 5 Speed Manual transmission and just 465 kms travelled on the odometer.
