1995 Audi Porsche RS2 Avant

It wasn’t the first super estate, but it sure did start off the craze… the well-regarded collaboration of Porsche and Audi to develop a high-performance load-lugger gave us the iconic RS2 Avant.

The first of the Audi ‘RS’ moniker was an adaption from the standard Audi 80 constructed at the Ingolstadt factory and with a little help from the Porsche factory the body was then sent to Zuffenhausen where it received the brake, wheel and tyre package from the Porsche 968 Clubsport, plus an uprated engine, six-speed manual gearbox, a 4WD drivetrain with a locking rear-differential and of all thing’s new door mirrors.

The Avant wielded a Porsche developed, tuneful 2.2 litre Inline 5 Cylinder boosted by a single KKK turbocharger to produce 315 HP and to achieve 0 – 100 km/h in approximately 5.4 seconds.

With only 182 right-hand drives ever made we are excited to bring to market this rare 3-owner 1995 Audi Porsche RS2 Avant ordered in RS-Blue Pearl over Black and Blue leather and suede upholstery and carbon fibre trim which was delivered new to the U.K. and imported to Sydney, Australia in 2011.

Overall in good order throughout this Audi RS2 has travelled just 93,791 documented miles from new. The interior has been meticulously preserved and the bright RS-Blue Pearl paintwork is still in beautiful condition.

Accompanying the vehicle is a set of keys, an original set of owner’s manuals in its leather wallet along with its service booklet documenting a complete Audi service history from new with import documentation, original MOT’s and service receipts.

A rare cult classic ripe to be your next addition to the garage, this very collectible and uber-cool brainchild of two German automotive giants is one for the enthusiast.
