When Porsche unveiled the Cayman GT4, it immediately set a new benchmark for mid-engine sports cars. Producing 420hp and 420Nm of torque, the combination of lightweight chassis, six-speed manual transmission and optimised LSA suspension, the drive is tight and precise.

With its big rear wing and lightweight fixtures, the hardcore coupe makes no bones about its positioning as Porsche’s most race-focused Cayman – and whilst it improves on many of the liveable factors, it gives up nothing in the way of racecar satisfaction.
