"Every time I see an Alfa Romeo pass by, I raise my hat" - Henry Ford

In 1963, Alfa Romeo introduced the 105 series Giulia model igniting a purple patch of automotive engineering.

Penned by a 22 year-old Giorgetto Giugiaro at the Bertone design house, the Giulia's distinct architecture is considered one of the most beautiful automotive designs of the 1960s.

It featured a now legendary rev-happy all aluminium twin-cam, four-cylinder engine mated to a crispy 5 speed manual transmission, a superb chassis, lightweight rear live axle and disc brakes all round held within a coupé body that weighs just 1200 kgs.

A race-bred, front engine, rear drive combination that used engineering ingenuity as a replacement for displacement the 105 series Alfa’s are exhilarating driver's cars.

Finished off as a fully compliant road-car and released into the wild, is one of the most sorted and accurately created Alfa resto-mods in the country. Reading through the list of work and funds spent to create what was meant to be a championship winning race car, this makes the Formula One rule book look brief.

The motor is a masterpiece, all period & from the Arese plant. 2.0 litre Alfetta block housing new high-compression pistons, balanced with rods and crankshaft lay beneath a successfully worked cylinder head matched with 45 mm Weber carburettors (coming with the vehicle is the original numbers matching 1750cc motor). The power is expelled through ceramic coated ‘’Alfaholics’’ exhaust system 7 the engine is connect to the transmission through a Tilton rally style clutch.

The body work restoration carried out was all done by experts in the marque, using the correct specific jigs & fabrication practices. From the engine bay upgrades, the chassis reinforcements to the light-weight body panels fitted and the bare metal re-spray in the modern Alfa Grigio medio. Measuring with the eye from any angle, the alignment of all external parts are scientific. The interior is classic, having all the original aspects of the model from that period with a touch of age to the condition.

The suspension and brakes all have been precisely upgraded and tuned to make this crafted work of automotive performance art work in a perfect song as a whole package.

Driving this car finishes of the total experience and nothing is a crisp as the way this machine operates.
