Zinc Metallic | Coupé | 5 Speed Manual | 3.2 litre Flat Six | 148,094 kms | SOLD

WPCS 2.1.0

The successor to the Porsche 911 SC and the car that kept the world’s most iconic  sportscar moniker alive, the Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera delivers the ideal synthesis of classic  air-cooled performance, and zero driving aids combined with modern creature comforts  and traditional 911 styling that was never again replicated by Porsche.

Producing 30 more horsepower than its predecessor for a total of 231hp using the latest  Bosch LE-Jetronic fuel injection system, the 911 3.2 Carrera features power assisted  brakes, a new front air dam with integrated fog lights, electric windows and mirrors,  optional electric sports seats, optional air-conditioning and the choice of a sports body  with front and rear spoilers to complete the look.

Because of their excellent build quality with fully galvanized bodies from the factory and  typically meticulous owner fraternity, these iconic 911s still deliver a goose-bump making  drive whilst offering a unique investment proposition.

Australian delivered, numbers matching and sold new by Scuderia Veloce, Sydney on the  6th of April of 1984 this meticulously well-kept and low mileage 911 3.2 Carrera coupe was  specially ordered in a highly desirable and unique specification of Zinc Metallic over Blue leather trim with Striped Corduroy inserts.

Specification:

  • C23 Australian Market Designation
  • L956 Zinc Metallic
  • CS Leather and Corduroy
  • 261 Passenger side mirror (flat, electrically adjustable)
  • 401 15" Fuchs forged alloy wheels
  • 559 Air conditioner
  • 650 Sun-moon-roof

From the original Fuchs alloys, engine bay decals, underbonnet specification sticker and  even the original Eurovox Cassette player all in outstanding condition these small tell-tale  signs show how well the car has been cared for.

The drive is sensational. Gear changes feel tight and sharp, the feeling of the chassis  through the driver seat is lively and acceleration pushes you right into the rear seats.

Accompanying this are the original logbooks and manuals kept in the vinyl Porsche wallet  showing a marque specialist service history, the original spare tyre compressor and tool roll and a swathe of documentation including servicing works and a Porsche Authenticity  Certificate.

CTS has known this vehicle over the past decade, having sold the car on two separate  occasions, we are excited to once again bring this vehicle back to market as it is an  absolute gem.

One of the finest Australian delivered 911 3.2 Carrera’s we’ve seen featuring the most  desirable 231hp motor and preceded by great provenance and long-term ownership this  car is excellently prepared for its next driver.
