Rosso Corsa | Coupé | 6 Speed Manual | 5.5 litre V12 | 28,713 miles | AU$179,995

WPCS 2.1.0

Penned by Pietro Camardella and Lorenzo Ramaciotti at Pininfarina, the Ferrari 456 GT made its debut in 1992 during the 40th anniversary celebration of Garage Francorchamps in Belgium.

Designed as though crafted specifically to glide effortlessly from Maranello to the Côte d’Azur, the 456 GT introduced an all-new 65-degree V12 engine. This powerhouse delivered an exhilarating 442 horsepower, enabling the car to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. It offered a unique combination of grand touring refinement and supercar thrills, complete with a robust yet silky-smooth exhaust note.

The 456 GT exuded luxury, featuring a fully leather-trimmed interior, electronically adjustable sport seating, and a suite of amenities for its time. These included electric windows, remote central locking, ABS, an eight-speaker stereo system, air conditioning, expansive seating, and a complete set of analog gauges. The driver’s view over the rakish bonnet was framed by hand-stitched leather, epitomizing Ferrari’s commitment to craftsmanship.

This particular 456 GT, delivered new through Maranello Concessionaires to Gray Paul Motors in Loughborough in November 1994, is an exceptional example. It features the iconic Rosso Corsa exterior paired with Crema leather upholstery—arguably the most desirable color combination. With a documented 28,000 miles on the odometer, this car is equipped with the rare and highly sought-after gated manual transmission.

The exterior of the car showcases Pininfarina’s flowing, sculptural curves, with not a straight line in sight. Its deep, lustrous paint finish remains remarkably preserved, and the factory alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The 456 GT also boasts the largest carbon-fiber bonnet of its time, still in pristine condition, contributing to its elegant yet aggressive road presence.

Inside, the cabin is an opulent haven, with plush carpets, rich leather, and all-original finishes. The dash instrumentation and switchgear are immaculate, and the Formula 1-inspired three-spoke steering wheel feels as if it were new.

Accompanying this vehicle are all factory logbooks, a warranty card stored in the original leather wallet, a complete service history, and factory tools.

As one of Ferrari’s last models to feature pop-up headlights, the 456 GT stands as a fitting successor to the legendary Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Combining a gated manual transmission, high-revving V12, low mileage, and limited production numbers, this 456 GT offers an unparalleled opportunity for both collectors and drivers. With seating for four and timeless elegance, it represents a rare and engaging piece of Ferrari’s grand touring legacy.
