At the heart is the traditional Ferrari mid-mounted 4.5L V8 producing 562HP to the rear wheels sending the driver from 0 to 100 km/h in just under 3.4 seconds thanks to its subsonic 7 Speed dual-clutch transmission.

In the suspension the 458 features double wishbones at the front and a multi-link set up at the rear, coupled with E-Diff, F1-Trac traction control systems and Carbon Ceramic Brakes as standard.

The cars exterior styling and features were designed for aerodynamic efficiency utilizing active aerodynamics in the front grille - deformable winglets that lower at high speeds to reduce drag.
