2011 Lotus Elise

The diminutive Elise remains faithful to Lotus less-is-more school of vehicle production. Like the famous Seven and Elan, lightweight roadsters that helped put Lotus road cars on the map, the Elise is built around the same concept of joining an exceptionally light, nimble chassis to a flexible and responsive 4-cylinder engine.

The Elise tips the scales at an extremely svelte 900 kgs. The Toyota-sourced 1.6 litre 4-cylinder engine makes a healthy 136 horsepower and with so little car to push around, it allows the engine's free-revving spirit to shine.

The lack of electronic interference means you become immersed in the driving experience and you feel everything the car is doing on the road. Add in its miniature proportions and the Elise is unquestionably one of the most precise and agile sports cars around. There's also huge levels of grip which gives you plenty of confidence if you decide to take it to the track.

The interior of the Elise is spartan, which isn't unusual for a car built for speed. Features include air conditioning, HID headlights, an anti-theft system, a leather-trimmed Momo steering wheel, aluminum gearshift knob and handbrake trim, a premium audio system and performance tires.

Delivered new in 2011 by Western Australia’s Barbagallo, this sharp Elise has had only a handful of sportscar enthusiast ownership.

Presented today in the specifications as it was when new, the Lotus has had the right ownership. Coming with all the original owners manuals and service book showing the frequent annual servicing by Lotus. The last service was carried out only 350 kms ago by Simply Sports Cars’ Lotus Sydney in May 2022 at 64,300 km.
