Porsche has always been the master of GT cars, and for many purists the letters G and T signify this perfect balance between track-readiness and road-going legitimacy you would find in a registered car.
Since the middle 2000’s, Porsche have always been reluctant to apply the “GT” badge to anything other than a 911. Partly due to credibility and partly to preserving the 911 brand as the pinnacle of sportscar performance.
However, if you were an automotive alchemist creating the ultimate driver’s car, there is a pretty good chance you would end up with a car a lot like the 2020 Porsche Cayman GT4.
Out of the box, the GT4 is a pure GT. Boasting a normally aspirated version of the Flat-Six from the 911 with an increase to 4.0lt, it is a sublime car to drive fast and the perfect sportscar for those that like to push the limits.
Producing 420hp and 420Nm of torque, the combination of lightweight chassis, six-speed manual transmission and optimised LSA suspension, the drive is tight and precise.
With its big rear wing and lightweight fixtures, the hardcore coupe makes no bones about its positioning as Porsche’s most race-focused Cayman – and whilst it improves on many of the liveable factors, it gives up nothing in the way of racecar satisfaction.
We are pleased to bring to market an excellent specification GT4. Delivered new in May 2020 and finished in GT Silver Metallic with Black interior, it has travelled just 5,500 kms and presents as new. Optional Equipment include:
• 6 Speed Manual Transmission
• GT Silver Metallic
• Black Interior with Contrasting GT-Silver Stitching
• Full Carbon Bucket Seats
• Painted Interior Package – “Exclusive Manufactur”
• BOSE Surround Sound System
• Sport Chrono Package with Preparation for Lap Trigger
• Steering Wheel finished in Smooth Leather
• 20” 718 GT4 Wheels in Platinum Finish inc. Wheel Armor
• Gtechniq Hallo Ceramic Coating
• XPEL Ultimate Plus Full Exterior Wrap
• Still under New Vehicle Warranty
In short, the 718 Cayman GT4 offers the kind of tactile experience that should be the benchmark for all track focused Porsche sports cars. And with limited availability of GT cars currently, the ownership of a near new GT4 with 6-speed transmission is both a sound investment and a great opportunity.
