Only a few concept cars keep their looks into production. The Audi TT Mk 1 is one of them.

An exhilarating, sporting grand tourer that packs a heavy dose of performance and premium-build materials the TT’s hatchback configuration with folding rear seats made it an instant global hit.

Audi saved the best for last by finally shoehorning a V6 under the bonnet to form the vaunted 3.2 litre Quattro DSG TT for its last Mk1 model in 2004, a big moment in TT history. With that signature SSSS-BANG sound like a WRC car threading a pine forest, Car and Driver in 2004 said “This engine and transmission really shine in this TT. With no turbo lag and 3.2 litres’ worth of V-6 torque on tap, it just comes across as a much more lively and engaging sports coupé”.

Standard equipment for this range topping model included satellite navigation, cruise control, leather trim, xenon headlights, shift-paddles and 18-inch alloy wheels as well as a thick leather sports steering-wheel.

Offered here is an outstanding MY 2005 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro DSG with just 61,000 recorded kilometres in Phantom Black over Black leather trim.

Meticulously well maintained and accompanied by a complete service history, the last recorded for July this year, all tell-tale signs like the totally unblemished interior trim from carpets to the leather steering wheel, switch gear and instrumentation and the depth of finish to the paintwork and totally original engine bay show a car that has lead a charmed life.

The drive is also on the button. The DSG transmission eliminates the torque gap between shifts, add to that 250 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque delivered from the V6 within such a well-kept package, there isn’t much more a gearhead can want from a sportscar.

Accompanied by both keys and the full set of manuals bound in the original cloth wallet, this driver’s edition TT is prepped to breathe life into your daily commute and weekend getaway drives.
