After more than two decades of building exotic, mid-engine, flat-12-powered Boxers and Testarossa’s, Ferrari famously returned to its front-mounted, driver-centric and race bred roots with the 550 and 575 M Maranello to huge success.

Debuting at the 2002 Geneva auto show, the 575 M Maranello (“M” for Modificata referring to a miryad of updates) is fitted with a larger, high revving 515hp V12, a new Skyhook suspension system and an optional state-of-the-art Formula 1 inspired transmission.

Importantly, the 575 M Maranello’s svelte, alloy bodywork was styled by Pininfarina, harking back to ancestors like the Daytona without being overtly retro. The design is universally regarded as one of THE best looking of all modern Ferraris.

A luxurious interior with double stitched leather from the hips up completes the package with ample space for the driver, passenger and luggage plus golf clubs designed with grand touring in mind.

In its 2002 review, Car and Driver called the 575 M Maranello “a Classic GT, Ferrari’s muscle car with a shark nose” and went on to say “Ordinary traffic laws are inadequate with a car such as the 575 M. They're going to have to make up some new charges like "Negligent Generation of G-forces".

A totally original and incredibly well-maintained example, this Australian Delivery 575 M Maranello was delivered by Sydney’s Scuderia Veloce Motors in February of 2004.

Ordered in the elegant combination of Nero over Black leather interior, this exquisite example is one of the finest we’ve had the opportunity to bring back to market.

Well optioned, this car features wing mounted Ferrari shields, the engaging F1 paddle shift transmission and its original factory Sport 18-inch alloys with yellow brake callipers.

The car was purchased from us, the Classic Throttle Shop in 2012. The exceptional condition indicative of the low 39,000 kilometres and meticulous service history of this caliber of vehicle.

Totally unmodified, the paintwork still carries a brilliant depth of finish and the interior is extremely well-presented with no sticky buttons or signs of wear throughout the handmade Italian leather. The crackle finish on the engine is original and in perfect condition, so too is the heat shield beneath the bonnet. The drive is exceptional as this car feels very tight, like new. The roar of a Ferrari V12 is a very unique feeling and a must for any modern-classic supercar collector.

This 575 M Maranello is also accompanied by Ferrari log books detailing delivery dates, service and ownership history plus both factory keys with remote access FOB’s.

Ready to drive off the showroom floor, this Ferrari has just completed a service by Ferrari Sydney who also carried out the last major service including all drive belts only 1,500 km ago at the end of 2020.

The 575 M Maranello delivers a comprehensively balanced, comfortable and incredibly fast driving experience and this car's rarity and importance is reflected in its ever appreciating price.
