2014 Audi R8 LMX MY15

In 2014 Audi announced that they were bringing the first generation of the R8 to an end and with the new gen car in their sight they released a limited-edition final version to send off of the Type 42, the Audi R8 LMX.

The LMX or Le Mans Exclusive was unveiled at the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans and it was proclaimed that just 99 examples were built worldwide. It was one of the first production cars to use laser high beams, it’s naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 was tuned to 562 HP, carbon-fibre ceramic brake discs as standard and so was a fixed rear spoiler, carbon fibre front spoiler lip, side flics, engine compartment cover, exterior mirror housings, side blades, the rear wing and diffuser.

The highly optioned interior was completed with folding bucket seats upholstered in Nappa leather with Sepang Blue diamond pattern, backrest covers in colour matched Ara Blue, suede rooflining and extended Nappa leather interior trim.
